The Republican Mantra has always been to lie, but in the last couple of years, the lies, specifically repeated lies has been the Republican calling card. The Republicans want to not only tell lies to further their agenda, but they also use fear mongering to scare the weak minded to swallow their pathetic messages.
There was one other group in the history of the modern world who lived by this creed and this statement was issued by their propaganda minister, Joseph Goebbels…
“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”
Of course people who know their history, know that Joseph Goebbels was the propaganda minister under Adolf Hitler in Nazi Germany during World War II. In fact the similarities between today’s Republican Party and Nazi German under Hitler is frightening.
Michele Bachmann – Blatant Liar or Ignorant? BOTH!
This brings us to Michele Bachmann’s latest appearance on NBC’s Today Show, November 4, 2011. I like the folks at NBC’s Today Show, but there is one of two things happening here. Either they are limited by what they can ask or pursue, or they do not have the courage to call out these Republican Guests for their blatant lies. The problem by letting it continue, the Joseph Goebbels Propaganda lie is perpetuated leaving weak minded people to believe the rhetoric and that is bad for this country. Never in the history of United States Politics has there been one single politician who has LIED more blatantly and consistently than Michele Bachmann. What is even more frightening is, there are people who believe this woman even to the point of giving her money. In the movie “A Few Good Men,” Jack Nicholson on the stand in the courtroom responding to Tom Cruise said “… YOU Can’t Handle the Truth…” This is exactly WHY Conservatives vote for such blatant liars, as they are NOT man or woman enough to “Handle the Truth” and they would prefer to live their lives in a delusional and sick world backed up by lying politicians who tell them exactly what they want to hear. Just what does it say about these people in this Minnesota District who continually vote this blatant LIAR in to represent them?
First We Will Look at Michelle Bachmann’s Track Record
If you do a very simple search on Google with these 3 words “Michele Bachmann Lies” Google will return nearly 3 million hits. When you consider that Michele Bachmann is only a Congresswoman and has only been in the national spotlight for about 6 months, that number is staggering.
On the Pulitzer Prize Winner site PolitiFact.com, every major statement that Michele Bachmann has laid claim to has either been proven False or So False that it is a “Panties On Fire” Lie. In fact they had this to say about Michele Bachmann…
Bachmann continues to hold the rare distinction of an all-False/Pants on Fire record.
This of course means Michele Bachmann has consistently LIED on every major statement or claim she has ever made.
Even during the GOP Debates she LIES as pointed out by Crooks and Liars. And the thing is, her lies are so frequent and continual she has become very good at holding a straight face during her lie fest. Part of that problem is due to NO ONE will call her out on her blatant lies. It’s bad enough the Kiss Ass Never Fair and Never Balanced mouth of the US Conservative movement, FOX News, will sit there and nod yes and agree with everything she says. But NONE of the other News Organizations will call her out, perpetuating her lies.
This is what she answered in one of the debates about the Debt Ceiling issue…
BACHMANN: “I think we just heard from Standard & Poor’s. When they dropped our credit rating what they said is we don’t have an ability to repay our debt. That’s what the final word was from them. I was proved right in my position. We should not have raised the debt ceiling and instead, we should have cut government spending, which was not done and then we needed to get our spending priorities in order.”

As we have seen, Michele Bachmann in such a short time in the national spotlight has become the Top Political Liar EVER, as everything out of her mouth is a LIE and because she consistently does it, and no one calls her out in front of a camera, it will continue. The other crack up here is Michele Bachmann’s appearance on the Today Show was to talk about Herman Cain and his Sexual Harassment problems and Today wanted her perspective, being a woman. She continually kept dodging those questions and was clearly pushing her political agenda, and it just turned into a stump speech for Bachmann and Matt Lauer let it happen as you can see from this Transcript from the Interview.
Taking just ONE of her statements, we can see that it is littered with Lies…
Well in this ONE “Response/Statement” we can clearly see three blatant lies that are part of the Republican Propaganda LIE Machine, which have been dis-proven many times and web site Political Correction has a long list of this GOP LIE Propaganda specific to the Patient Protection and Affordability Care Act. Of course Republican Brains are too small to grasp such big words, so their translation is “ObamaCare.” Well there are other reasons, as this Act is for ‘Protecting Medical Patients” against the dirty deeds of Health Care organizations and to make Health Care Affordable to ALL Americans. Well this one is the Whopper of them all! Over 15 thousand IRS Agents? How does one take approximately 1 thousand IRS Full Time Employees as reported on FactCheck.org and exploded it to over 15 thousand? Just goes to show you how much Michele Bachmann distorts the truth and actual facts.
The Cowardice of The Today Show
Perhaps the solution for all of this is to hold the Networks Feet to the Fire so that they become more responsible? It’s clear in the video that Michele Bachmann walked all over Matt Lauer and never even addressed the issue that she was brought onto the show for in the first place. Had I been the Interviewer, after the second time Michele Bachmann avoided the question, the interview would have ended and she would not have been able to give her LYING Stump Speech.
Then if that was not bad enough, when Michele Bachmann started to spew Lie after Lie Matt Lauer never once stopped her and just let it continue. So either Matt Lauer is a Coward or blatantly ignorant to the actual facts. Either way, Matt Lauer FAILED at the job he is paid to do, and allowed a known LIAR mop the floor with him!
Well it’s certainly comical witnessing the Right and their silly attempts to spread talking point lies from their political factions and the news media that is about as fair as a used car salesman at the end of the month, and as balanced as an elephant on a strand of fishing line. I’m not sure what is more pathetic, their gullible belief in the lies being told to them, or the fact they are stupid enough to go on a liberal website to try and preach this stupidity to people who know better and who can bury them in facts.
What is truly amazing is how one can provide overwhelming proof to these numbskulls on a given topic and the only way they will ever believe what you are telling them is to funnel it through Fox News. Then as predictable as the sun rising in the East, when they are called on their talking point bullshit, their modus operandi is to get the people who challenged their silly points to do their research to prove them otherwise. Of Course this translates into “We don’t have a fucking clue and we want to waste your time so we can see what we can get away with…”
One overwhelming example of this has been continual assault on the President’s citizenship and these gullible morons kept lining up claiming the President was not a US Citizen. The Certified Copy of Obama’s Birth Certificate, which is required as proof of citizenship in order to get a US Passport, was released by the President in the summer of 2008. But of course this was not good enough, and morons continued trying to gather steam for the real reason (They cannot stand to have a black man in the White House) and they gather more gullible simpletons at various state congressional groups to try and get laws passed to prevent the President from being re-elected. Of course the whole time the President sort of ignored it but smiled how these idiots were hanging themselves. Then the biggest Gullible Moron, Donald Trump, stepped into the ring and made a horses ass of himself even bragging that he “had private investigators on the ground in Hawaii and they were uncovering massive amounts of damaging information.” So the President in Pity for the fools and a desire to stop the circus, presented his Long Form Birth Certificate. Sure is funny how Trump’s Hot Shot investigators have never been heard from. The point of this really is to show how utterly stupid these people are and Obama’s Birth Certificate is pure proof of this fact. Of course these same idiots are lining up questioning the Death of Osama Bin Laden and we on the left are just continue to laugh at them.
This All Brings Me To One Day on Huffington Post (5/9/2011)…
Today there was an article on Huffington Post talking about Newt Gingrichbeing on the verge of announcing his candidacy for President and in reviewing some of the comments I ran into this little gem. First thing you will notice are the grammatical and spelling errors which is consistent with the Right. Then you will notice that “they” make mention that “trumped up charges” against Gingrich were “Bogus” but did not provide backup as to why they were “bogus.” Finally they say that President Obama “is a very bad President” again with no reasons or proof to back up their position. What is truly amazing is this individual feels that a Womanizing War Monger is “Brilliant” which says a lot for this person’s judge of character.
Newt is a brilliant mine who was a great speaker and would have been a great president EXCEPT his personal live is an albatross around his neck as well as the rather poor way he reacted to the trumped up book charges which were found to be bogus.
The family issue would not necessarily be huge except he is up against a man who while I think is a very bad president has an impeccable family life with no hint of any scandal.

Over the past few months gas prices have trended up, primarily due to the unrest in the Middle East which the United States has no control over.

Tell You what… I’ll purchase a ticket for Bush to fly to either London or Berlin and we will just see what happens, as there have been warrants issued for George Bush’s Arrest for War Crimes against Humanity.

The Fox Fool Parade
I’m not certain what is more pathetic, the Fox Fools who believe the “Fox Talking Point Rhetoric” with absolutely no proof to their lies; or the fact these morons go onto progressive sites like Huffington Post spouting the Fox Fallacies and Lies with horrible grammar and spelling. Either way, these numbskulls will always believe Talking Point Lies before they believe pure Indisputable Facts, and that is sad indeed.
What I’m about to tell you will change the way you freely give your comments and opinions on websites. I know many of you like the idea of seeing your opinions plastered all over the web or you just simply like to anonymously say what is on you mind. But, for what ever the reason you do it, you may want to seriously consider putting an end to it. Either that, or find another avenue such as Twitter or Facebook.
My Background
For the last number of years I have been posting comments on various politically charged news websites. Originally started on CNN’s iReports, then left there and just occasionally and randomly would post on other sites and it was more driven by the topic. I did start my own blogs and sort of found a secondary home where I would post my comments on Huffington Post.
Fixated Focus
On HuffPo I would frequently see comments by people questioning why they were so “Fixated” on Sarah Palin, for example. A couple of times I would sort of give the reasons based on what I had discovered on CNN, and confirmed the same on HuffPo. When ever I did, the HuffPo moderators would remove my response. The reasons why they did was to protect them from a mass exodus once people realized it. Over the past year the moderation on Huffington Post has become worse and worse and I’ve found it troubling. My suspicion is that it is tied to these other issues. Additionally there seems to be a sudden spurt of more “Right Biased” posters and the odd thing is many of these “Posters” have large amounts of “Friends.” Considering I’ve been on Huffington Post for nearly 2 years and these New Right Biased posters have more followers than I on a Left Biased site seems odd. My suspicion is they are HuffPo plants meant to stir the pot, and that is another issue, but it is tied in some ways to this issue.
Why Does Huffington Post Get Fixated?
So just why does Huffington Post and other sites get seemingly “fixated” on certain people or topics of the day/week/month? The one word answer… MONEY! How do you think Adrianna Huffington made her millions? Commenter people like You and I. Of course pure page views contribute, but comments drive it.
By the way, it is NOT a Fixation on polarizing people like Sarah Palin, and now Donald Trump. It is a Financial Motivation, pure and simple, and this is exactly why they don’t want you to know and why they always removed my comments on the site when I eluded to this topic.
The Financial Marketing Machine
So how does Huffington Post and the other sites generate this money? Well the obvious part is right in front of you in the form of web advertisements on all their pages. But what you do not see are the mechanisms that are at the lower level of these pages. You can easily see it, well unless they decide to hide it from you after the posting of this article, by simply right clicking on any page and by choosing “View Source” from the menu. Then you will get a new window that shows you all the web page code running that specific page. Then you just need to scroll down to almost the bottom of the code and you will see it. For example on CNN a few years back they were using Neilson and I believe they still do.
I have decided to capture a couple of screen shots in the event Huffington Post decides to lock everything down. Even if they do, that doesn’t mean they have stopped using these tools.
The screen capture above is from the web page HTML source from one of Huffington Post’s web site. This particular piece shows one of the marketing tools Buzz Feed. I believe at the time of this writing that they have 3 different entities for their statistical collection. The one I will focus on can be seen in the screen shot below and it’s called “Pubmatic.”
The Undeniable Revelation
Again as I said, my focus will be only on the PubMatic tools, but you can be certain the same depth of scope exists with the other tools found on these sites. Clicking on PubMatic’s logo to the left will provide you with their RTB (Real Time Bidding) White Paper. I’ve extracted some of those key images and components into this posting but the White Paper will give you an in depth view of what is transpiring. It is important to note that the term “Publisher” would be a site like CNN or Huffington Post.
What I’m exposing here will be not only an eye opener, but an introduction into terminology and companies that you probably have never heard of before. First here are some terms that may very well be new to you and they are used throughout these hidden technologies.

As mentioned before it’s rather doubtful that any of you reading this have heard of this organization. Even for my long time and involvement with the web it was new to me as well as the rest of these companies that will be mentioned. When I saw the repeated complaints of Huffington Post’s “Obsession” with someone like Palin, I decided to look into who was the marketing engine was for Huffington Post as I knew it was Nielson for CNN. When I saw PubMatic, I decided to explore them further and it did not take long to realize the extent and depth of what these companies do with all this web data.
Publishers can’t afford to stay on the sidelines and let somebody else figure it out and take home the growing tide of RTB advertising dollars

Again it is important to note that what I’m providing here is just a drop compared to what you can find and uncover on the PubMatic Web Site. This information will make it very clear that these sites are clear money making organizations, especially through Real Time Bidding that is PubMatic’s Bread and Butter. In this first image from the White Paper you can see the increase in advertising revenue for the Publisher.
Next we can see the complex diagram explaining the entire process and showing all the possible paths between the Publisher and the Agency Advertiser.
Finally we can see the conceptual flow from the Web Page Request get sent through the PubMatic Request Engine and how the Real Time Bidding for Advertising Space commences.
We can clearly see the complexities happening behind the pages of our favorite sites and again it leads to the question. Do You REALLY want to continue feeding the cash register at these big news sites?
The Other Pieces of the PubMatic Puzzle
There are other pieces of the PubMatic Symphony of events that take place when this Advertising Engine is started and as one site stated they “Work like a Well Oiled Machine because the people they have working for them are very, very smart people.” There is no doubt in my mind about this, especially how well all of this is concealed from the web site visitors.
These ancillary companies are part of the complete solution for Advertising Management on these web sites. Again, my guess is, the names of these companies are very new to most the people reading this blog. Each Company Name ahead of their web site image is a link to the corresponding company’s website if you wanted to explore them further. Each Image link just provides a larger version of the image for general reading
I’m certain that once this information is released there could be fall out in a number of ways from locking down their web sites to threatening me to remove the information. Why? Because this could ultimately hurt their bottom line. But my feeling is, If you are making so much money on advertising space that is driven by the people willing to donate their time and energy to make it all explode, then perhaps they need to reward those people who comment.
Oh and for all you little Rightie Posters who feel that this is some sort of Liberal conspiracy, think again, as the image above was taken from a RWNJ site Newsmax and we can clearly see that they use Nielson for their advertising ratings. Mind you Newsmax isn’t anywhere near the sophistication of Huffington Post and it would actually be like comparing a High School Football team to an NFL team due to how antiquated Newsmax is.
Bottom Line is… They ALL Do it!
